Casino de Monte Carlo Salle Medecin, Monte Carlo - 2016 Olympic gold medal winner Daniyar Yeleussinov (5-0, 3 KOs) had no trouble with an overmatched Marcos Mojica (16-3-2, 12 KOs), with a third round stoppage in a welterweight bout.

Yeleussinov, who is trained by veteran coach John David Jackson, turned pro in April and signed on with promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom.

Mojica has a very padded record with five of his wins coming against the same opponent, and he fought that opponnet in his last three bouts for reasons unknown and knocked him out all three times.

Yeleussinov dominated the first round with his boxing ability.

In the second, Mojica went down from a well-time shot that rattled him. He made it up, looked unsteady on his feet, but managed to finish the round as he was being tagged up with punches. He went down for a second time right at the bell from hard left hands.

At the start of the third, Mojica went down for a third time in the fight. He once again made it, and was being punished as the referee had seen enough and stepped in to wave off the fight.
