Upset special, as Tommy Karpency matched former light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson in punches landed, was busier and landed the harder shots to win a shocking split decision after ten rounds of action.  Dawson averaged just 32 punches thrown per round vs. Karpency and has averaged 30 punches thrown per round/ 8 landed in his last 5 fights. Kind of a goofball headline really. Dawson landed more and at a greater percentage in accuracy. Now if he can just finish the next fight uninjured, we may see what he REALLY has left.

Pascal shouldn't be there yet and you could argue that Cloud was done after the gift against Campillo. I doubt the Hopkins bout had much to do with Chad's decline (see the Ward fight for that), but it's interesting to…
