CompuBox: Herrera Outworked Benavidez in The Fight

Second consecutive controversial loss for savvy veteran Mauricio Herrera, who outlanded unbeaten prospect Jose Benavidez in seven of twelve rounds, with two rounds even in connects.  Herrera was also the busier fighter, throwing an avg. of ten more punches per round.  An early Christmas present for the talented Benavidez with a wide twelve round unanimous decision.

Bob Arum is setting things up for next year, it'll give him more options for Pacquiao......Benavidez, Crawford, Jessie Vargas etc etc
