Panamanian world champion Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno showed off his skills and stamina after sparring hard for twelve rounds at the gym Pedro 'Rockero' Alcázar in Curundú. He went six rounds with Edwin 'La Pantera' Diaz and the other six were against former world champion Rafael 'El Torito' Concepcion. On the 10th of August, at the Hard Rock Café at the Megapolis Convention Center in Panama City, Chemito (33-2-1, 12 KO) will make the twelfth defense of WBA bantamweight (118 pounds) title against challenger William Urina (24-2, 20 KOs).

'We work today for twelve rounds of sparring against two great fighters like Edwin Diaz and Rafael Concepcion. Sparring both of them required a lot from me I like that," said Moreno.

The defense against Urina will be Moreno's first bout since losing a twelve round unanimous decision to Abner Mares last November. Moreno moved up to super bantamweight for that match.
