Chavez: I'm Going To Fight Zbik on June 4 in Las Vegas

By Miguel Angel Cebreros

The son of the legend, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (42-0-1, 30 KOs), informed that he's going to fight undefeated Sebastian Zbik (30-0, 10 KOs) of Germany for the undefeated WBC middleweight title on June 4 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. In Julio's own words, his promoters Bob Arum of Top Rank and Fernando Beltran of Zanfer informed him of the date and the venue. He also mentioned that he's not sure if the scheduled fight on March 19 with David Medina is going to push through.

Not surprising. Didn't think this would end up in Mexico.

I've only seen one of Zbik fights and I thought his opponent won.
