Caballero-Castellanos Coming Together For 4/20 Eliminator

By Jhonny Gonzalez

A final WBC featherweight eliminator between Celestino Caballero (36-4, 23KOs) and WBC Silver champion Robinson Castellanos (17-9, 11KOs) is coming together for April 20th at the Arena Robert Duran in Panama. Caballero, a former WBA champion, vacated his belt last year and started getting close with WBC President Jose Sulaiman. He wants to get a rematch with WBC featherweight champ Daniel Ponce De Leon, who Caballero defeated several years ago.

Castellanos was holding out for the possibility of replacing Jayson Velez in a fight with WBC king Daniel Ponce De Leon. Now that Ponce's previously scheduled fight, on March 2nd, has been canceled to a later date - Castellanos is ready to fight Caballero.
