Breazeale-Kassi, Washington-Mansour in Play For 10/13

By Carlos Boogs

A solid heavyweight doubleheader is in play on October 13th for Premier Boxing Champions on Fox Sports. Tom Brown of TGB Promotions will promote the card.

In the main event, rising prospect Dominic Breazeale (15-0, 14KOs) will get his stiffest test against durable Fred Kassi (18-3-1, 10KOs), who went to a ten round majority draw in July against Chris Arreola.
Some felt Kassi had done enough to get the win over Arreola. Because Arreola struggled so much in the fight, it likely killed him in the running to face WBC champion Deontay Wilder in 2015.

In the co-feature, it's going to be bombs away when Gerald Washington (16-0, 11KOs) will go up against his most dangerous opponent, as he takes on Amir Mansour (22-1, 16KOs), who was last seen in May winning a ten round unanimous decision over Joey Dawejko.

Good matchups. Curious to see where Breazeale & Washington are at & these fights should show us.

Those are a couple of interesting fights at heavyweight. Can the young guys get past the more proven vets?
