Timothy Bradley is calling his April 12th rematch against Manny Pacquiao, "Redemption".  Bradley defeated Pacquiao in 2012 by split decision but many observers felt that Pacquiao deserved to get the nod.  The undefeated Bradley said that provides him with even more motivation to dominate their rematch.  He understands that if the fight is close that there is a good chance Pacquiao will get the victory on the judges' scorecards.

"It is redemption time baby.  I am here to capture what I missed in the first fight which is the credit for beating a legend like him.  I am back at it again man.

"I have to win and I have to win decisively.  There can't be no questions about it. Everybody has to say Bradley won that fight and that is the bottom line.  I need to get that decision man and I have to leave no doubt," Bradley stated.

The Palm Springs, Calif. native suffered injuries to both of his feet in the first fight which took away most of his mobility in the fight.  The fact that he was still able to make it to the final bell and escape with the win gives him even more confidence going into the rematch.  He said that if Pacquiao couldn't stop him with two bad wheels then there is no way he will be able to be knock him out when he is fully healthy.

"In the first fight I didn't know what to expect. Now I can sleep.  I am relaxed knowing that the fight is (officially agreed to).  I am very confident going into this fight. I hope he is more aggressive.  That is what I want.  He couldn't knock me out in the first fight when I was hurt.  I was wounded prey in the ring and he couldn't stop me then and they think he can stop me now?  This is redemption.  I can't wait to get back in there and take care of business," Bradley told BoxingScene.com.

Bradley has faced and defeated a who's who list of the top junior welterweights and welterweights over the past half decade or so.  He feel that his experience against top competition is one of the key factors in him being able to defeat an elite fighter like Pacquiao.

"I have always faced the best man.  I have faced the best in my career.  I faced Kendall Holt when he was at the top of his game, I faced Lamont Peterson when he was undefeated.  I faced Junior Witter when he was ranked #2 in the division. You have, who else, Devon Alexander who I think was undefeated at the time. I beat (Luis) Carlos Abregu. I beat a legend in Marquez.  Also people say Casamayor was old when I fought him but he was the same age as Marquez is now (laughing) and he was another great fighter.  I have always fought the best," Bradley stated.

I finished our conversation by asking Bradley to look back to where his career was at just before he fought Devon Alexander in a fight that at the time was described as the fight to discover the next American star.  I asked him if at that time he could have envisioned his career at the point it is now as he is just two months away from headlining his third pay-per-view event.

"No way (laughing). I mean I thought I would get to this point but I never thought I would get there at this age being this young.  It truly is a blessing," Bradley told BoxingScene.com.
