BoxingScene.com recently caught up with WBO welterweight champion Timothy "Desert Storm" Bradley (29-0) who has been inactive since his controversial victory over Manny Pacquiao this past June.

The Southern California native missed out on a rematch with Pacquiao when the Filipino elected to face Juan Manuel Marquez for a fourth time instead.  He was then offered a fight against IBF junior welterweight champ Lamont Peterson in December but elected to sit the year out in hopes of landing a bigger fight in early 2013.

"I'm training now, just getting ready for whoever, whenever bro.  Hopefully I will be back in January or February. 2013 is going to be my year," Bradley told BoxingScene.com.

After his early 2013 fight, Bradley hopes to face the Pacquiao-Marquez winner.  I asked Bradley who he thought would win their December 8th pay-per-view fight which takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

"I think it will be close but I have Pac by decision," Bradley explained.

The 29 year-old fighter finished our conversation with a message for the fans.

"I'm looking forward to fighting the very best for the fans and for boxing in 2013."
