The Voice of Guyana reports that Raul Frank (27-5-3, 13KOs) has signed to face Andrew "Six Heads" Lewis (23-3-2, 20KOs) in a ten-round battle of welterweight veterans. The bout takes place on December 22 at the Guyana National Stadium.
Frank is best known for his two bouts with Vernon Forrest. The first ended in a no-contest, the rematch for the vacant IBF welterweight tite, was a clear decision win for Forrest.
Lewis, the current junior middleweight champion of Guyana, is better known for winning the WBA welterweight title in 2001 when he knocked out James Page. He would later have two bouts with Ricardo Mayorga, the first ending in a no-contest, the rematch saw Mayorga knock him out in five-rounds to win the title. He was later knocked out by Antonio Margarito in two-rounds.
