Mérida, Yucatán - José "Jimmy" Pinzon wants to avenge a totally unexpected defeat which took place in April to the Costa Rican Jaime "Indio" Barboza. This Saturday he will have get his chance when he face him again at the Auditorium Zamna.
The fight Pinzón (17-1-1, 11 KOs) and Barboza (16-3, 7 KOs) will be fighting at middleweight as the feature fight on the card called "The Revenge" and broadcast by TV Azteca in a promotion with Max Boxing and Zanfer.
At a press conference held in the white popular hotel Merida, presiding was Mario Abraham and William Brown of Max Boxing and Zanfer promotions respectively to give full details of "The Revenge" for this Saturday .
The idol "Jimmy" Pinzón reaffirmed his commitment to get the upper hand by knocking Barboza out and finish what he was doing before receiving he got beaten
"I should have knocked Barboza out two rounds before, but he then got confident and landed a well-connected punch that gave him the victory, but it was good experience for me and now I have to go back in with the experience and courage to finish what I started and that I promise to my audience," said Pinoz, only 21 years old.
Mario Abraham, director of Max Boxing who is Zanfer's supporting partner company, spoke with the media.

While Guillermo Brito, Chief Operating Officer of Zanfer, added that Pinzon vs. Barboza is a classic battle of hitters that both the viewers and the public attending the Poliforo event will enjoy.

In the co-feature, rising local fighter John 'Loquito' Kantún will get tested to the limit when he faces Eddy Zúñiga in a 10 round flyweight bout.
Also scheduled is the prospect Alonso 'Finito' Lopez, before an opponent to be determined, and Aaron Herrera in an eight round bout at super lightweight against Eugenio Lopez, and several more fights.
