With an upswing in the final tallying, the pay-per-view performance of the May 6th HBO Pay-Per-View show featuring Oscar De La Hoya’s victory over Ricardo Mayorga has been adjusted. According to Mark Taffet, senior vice president of HBO Sports, the pay-per-view buys for De La Hoya vs. Mayorga have been adjusted to 925,000 from the previously reported figure of 875,000. The revised revenue figure for the fight is $46.3 million.

What's crazy is that this pay-per-view had a ridiculously weak undercard - hope that promoters don't see this and only concentrate on marketable main events - if I pay fifty bucks, I want to see at least 4 fights and I want more than one match that I'm looking forward to seeing...
