The 2015 season premiere of The Fight Game with Jim Lampley airs Tuesday, March 17 live on HBO (11:00pm ET/PT). 

Past editions of TFG have been critical of business practices conducted by network rival Showtime, high-powered adviser Al Haymon and boxing pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather. Curiousity surrounds tonight's segment, in light of recent events—particularly Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao finally being signed and Haymon's expanding Premier Boxing Champions series on various networks (seemingly all but HBO, these days).

In today’s episode, the crew breaks down one of boxing’s biggest debates after Terence Crawford went on his Instagram to complain about the WBC. Are sanctioning bodies simply part of the game, or have they completely lost control of the sport? We also take a hard look at the Ring title and ask whether it can still be considered legitimate if champions are not required to defend it.
