It was recently announced that UFC President Dana White had agreed to terms with Conor McGregor for how they would split their share of the revenue in a super fight against retired boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather. According to White all that is left to negotiate is the revenue split with Mayweather's braintrust that includes Al Haymon. 

The former pound-for-pound king has been out of the ring since defeating Andre Berto via unanimous decision in September, 2015. Mayweather recently stated that he would only come out of retirement to face McGregor.

Many insiders and fans believe the fight will not be competitive because of McGregor's lack of experience inside the squared circle.

Berto feels that because of that the pressure will be on Mayweather and that simply winning the fight won't be enough.  He thinks that Mayweather has to dominate the fight from the the opening bell.

"If you are talking entertainment and something to watch - people will tune in for that - (because) maybe, what if McGregor catches him? For him to get any level of respect in this situation, Floyd is going to have to embarrass him. He needs to embarrass him," opined Berto.

As for what he thinks of the current version of Mayweather at 40 years old, Berto feels that while he doesn't have upper level power, he is still a very smart fighter.

"With Floyd saying he is the best ever - just like I told guys after the fight - if it is Sugar Ray Leonard or Muhammad Ali they are going to take you up out of there if you are not supposed to be in there with them. If you say you are the best you are going to show that and show that these guys shouldn't be in there with you. They are going to take you out," said Berto.

"Like I say, Floyd is just not that type of fighter at this age right now. He is sharp. I was surprised he was as reflexive as he was, as quick as he was at his age. Power wise you could just see his experience. He is very observant."
