Welterweight Artemio Reyes Jr. is scheduled to return to the ring on July 26th, Thompson Boxing Promotions matchmaker Alex Camponovo told Boxingscene.com.

Reyes will headline a scheduled eight or 10 round bout at the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, CA. An opponent has yet to be selected to face Reyes.

Reyes (19-2, 15 KOs) resides in nearby Colton and was victorious in his last bout on February 22nd, knocking out Rodolfo Armenta in the second round of a scheduled eight round bout. He has won his last four bouts in a row since being stopped in the first round at the hands of Alan Sanchez last April 13th.

Outside of the ring, Reyes runs a Mexican restaurant in Colton and attends business classes at California State University, San Bernardino.

Reyes made news in recent months, signing a managerial contract with Cameron Dunkin. He is promoted by Thompson Boxing.
