Arreola Crushes Molina in One, Malik Scott Returns To Win

American Bank Center, Corpus Christi, Texas - Chris Arreola (35-2, 30 KOs) demolished Eric Molina (18-2, 14 KOs) in the first round of a heavyweight brawl. Arreola's crushing right sent Molina down and out. Arreola, the WBC's number one contender, is now in line to fight champion Vitali Klitschko in a rematch.

Heavyweight contender Malik Scott (33-0, 11KOs) won a lopsided eight round unanimous decision over Kendrick Releford (22-16-2, 10 KO) on scores of 80-72, 80-72, and 79-73. Scott getting in the necessary rounds after a three-year layoff from the ring. This is their second meeting, with Scott winning an eight round decision over Releford in 2006 in Atlantic City.
