Antonio Orozco-Emmanuel Tayor as 5/15 Co-Feature

By Ryan Burton

Earlier today BoxingScene.com reported that WBA interim super lightweight champion Jose Benavidez Jr. will defend his title against Jorge Paez Jr.on May 15th at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, AZ on truTV.

BoxingScene.com has now confirmed that the co-feature bout will be an interesting battle between prospect Antonio Orozco (21-0) and Emmanuel Tayor (18-3) that will be scheduled for 10 rounds.  Orozco went 3-0 last year while Taylor also had a good 2014, pulling an upset victory over Karim Mayfield to rebound from a loss to Chris Algieri and then gave Adrien Broner a very competitive fight in a losing effort to finish off his year.

Taylor's manager David Price told BoxingScene.com that he is very confident that his fighter will be able to pull out another victory, "I think it is going to be a great fight and I am very confident that my fighter will get the win."
