By Miguel Rivera

WBC lightweight champion Antonio DeMarco (27-2-1, 20KOs) is still scheduled to return on August 4th in Mexico, but it won't be against Alejandro Sanabria, according to sources. Reportedly the two frontrunners to face DeMarco are Abdiel Ramirez and Ricardo Alvarez. “Mortero” Ramirez is undefeated with 14 wins 13 KO’s and is the current WBC silver champion. “Dinamita” Alvarez, who returns on Saturday in Guadalajara against Joksan Hernandez, has a professional record of 18 wins, 1 loss, 12 KO’s and 2 draws.
