A lot of fans were disappointed when Renan St-Juste (23-2-1) wasn't booked for the big InterBox show scheduled for November 5th at the Pepsi Coliseum in Quebec, which features a main event clash between Lucian Bute and Glen Johnson. But, another challenge looms on the horizon. InterBox confirmed to BoxingScene.com the buzz that's been circulating for the last few weeks. Renan St-Juste will have the opportunity to face undefeated Anthony Dirrell (23-0-0) on 2nd of December at the Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez, California.

The fight will be televised by Showtime as part of their ShoBox series. Dirrell vs St. Juste is also a WBC eliminator with the winner landing a shot at the title currently held by Carl Froch. Anthony Dirrell is the brother of Andre Dirrell.

Ranked in the top five by both the WBC and the WBO, St-Juste, 39-years-old and a former NABO, NABA and WBC Continental Americas - has been waiting for his big chance for the last few months. Earlier this year, St-Juste was being mentioned as a possible comeback opponent for Mikkel Kessler, but Danish star selected a different opponent for his June return.
