Angulo Simply Waiting For James Kirkland's Signature

By Jhonny Gonzalez

Junior middleweight Alfredo 'Perro' Angulo (20-1, 17KOs) is already getting ready to start training in Mexico City with Nacho Beristain. Angulo will return on November 5th in Cancun against fellow puncher James Kirkland (29-1, 26KOs).

Angulo will be training alongside Juan Manuel Marquez, who Beristain is currently preparing for a trilogy bout with Manny Pacquiao on November 12 in Las Vegas. Angulo told reporter Sal Rodriguez that he's waiting for Kirkland to sign his portion of the contract to finalize their fight. HBO will televise the contest.

"I am excited because it is a good fight. I've already started my preparation and everything is going well. I'm happy to return to HBO," Angulo said.
