Top prospect Alex "El Cholo" Saucedo (22-0) is currently training in the high altitude of Big Bear, Californian for his November 4th showdown against Raymond Serrano (21-3).

The fight will be his first with world class trainer Abel Sanchez in his corner. Sanchez previously trained Terry Norris and his growing stable includes the likes of Gennady Golovkin, Murat Gassiev and several others.

The 22-year-old Saucedo is very eager to put on display all that he has learned from Sanchez.

"Now we've made a change to move up to Big Bear to train with Abel Sanchez and I am very excited to fight in Las Vegas. It will be my debut there. I just have to go out there and do what I've been doing in training," Saucedo stated.

One of the biggest changes Saucedo has noticed besides the altitude is the quality and quantity of sparring.

"There is a big difference being out here. The training, it's a different level of sparring. We have sparring everyday. It's just awesome up here. I am looking forward to getting even more fights after I get this one out of the way," said Saucedo.

Sanchez emphasizes power punching and employs methods of increasing power that isn't common amongst most trainers. Saucedo said that he has already noticed the difference and looks forward to putting on a show for the fans.

"We have been looking at videos everyday since I got here. It's been going really good. Like you said. all of the punches have to be really hard and effective. I can't wait to get in the  ring and show everybody," Saucedo told BoxingScene.com.
