Abraham-Stieglitz Part Four is Official For July 18th

By Per Ake Persson

The fight is now official. Arthur Abraham (42-4, 28 KO's) will defend his WBO super middleweight title against mandatory challenger Robert Stieglitz (47-4-1, 27 KO's) on  July 18 at Gerry Weber Stadium in Halle / Westfalen, Germany.

They first met in 2012, with Abraham capturing the WBO super middleweight title from Stieglitz with a twelve round unanimous decision. They met again the following year with Stieglitz reclaiming the WBO title from Abraham with a fourth round stoppage due to a badly injured eye on King Arthur. A trilogy meeting was then last for last March, with Abraham clinching the victory, and the WBO, by dropping Stieglitz in the twelfth and final round for a split decision win.
Fking ridiculous.
It isn't a bad match up and has proved an exciting fight in the past. Had Sturm have defeated Stieglitz we'd be watching Sturm across the ring from him already. The WBO are one of the least consistent…
