Abraham Defends 12/15, Gutknecht-Braehmer News

By Per Ake Persson

During the recent gathering to announce Mikkel Kessler-Brian Magee in Herning, Denmark - promoter Kalle Sauerland confirmed a previous report on BoxingScene.com that WBO super middleweight champion Arthur Abraham (35-3, 27KOs) will defend the title against an opponent to be announced ob December 15.

Sauerland also surprisingly said that EBU light heavy champion Eduard Gutknecht´s defence against stablemate Juergen Braehmer would not happen on December 15 and not in Nuremberg - despite the previous announcement by the EBU.
