Andres Gutierrez has been added to the September 19 bill in Metepec, Mexico. The unbeaten featherweight will take on Nicaragua's Lester Medrano on a show that includes a female flyweight championship fight between Arely Muciño and Yessica 'Kika' Chavez.

Both fights will air live on Televisa, as part of the network's Sabado de Box series.

Gutierrez (32-0-1, 22KOs) was once a top-rated super bantamweight but outgrew the division before he was able to parlay his high ranking into a world title shot. The 22-year old has now set his sights on reigning featherweight champ Gary Russell Jr., though still has some work to be done before mandating such an opportunity.

The September 19 fight will mark his third since moving up in weight last year. The rising contender is coming off of a 10-round points win over Jhon Gemino this past July in Acapulco.

Medrano (15-5-2, 9KOs) fights in Mexico—and outside of Mexico—for just the second time in his career. His previous trip resulted in a 10-round decision loss to former super flyweight champ Cristian Mijares last November.

The active Nicaraguan has already fought three times in 2015, and has a tune-up fight scheduled in his home country this weekend. There has not been any indication that he will withdraw from Saturday's show, in which case his forthcoming clash with Gutierrez will mark his third fight in a span of just eight weeks.
