In the main fight of the evening at Kempton Park in South Africa, top cruiserweight contender Mateusz Masternak (35-3, 25 KOs) of Poland lost a shocking ten round split decision to local fighter Johnny Muller (19-4-2, 13 KOs), where even many of the local fans were in disbelief.

Muller was dropped in the fifth and seventh rounds. Masternak landed the better punches and appeared to win more of the rounds. Muller's face was bruised, cut and he took punishment. Even Muller's corner was urging him to get a knockout in the later rounds. He was brave and gave back as good as he got at times. Masternak seemed to be a little tired in the tenth, but still appeared to be well ahead in the fight.

But somehow two of the judges saw it 95:93 for Muller, with the third scoring it 95:93 for Masternak. Many are already calling the outcome one of the worst decisions of 2015.
