Sources have advised BoxingScene.com that Dierry Jean (27-1, 19KOs) of Montreal vs. Philadelphia's Henry "Hank" Lundy (25-4-1, 12KOs) is still being discussed for March 14th. This fight would be part of the HBO broadcast on March 14th from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada - that features the light heavyweight showdown between Sergey Kovalev and Jean Pascal and the heavyweight battle between Steve Cunningham and Vyachaslev Glazkov.
Last year, Jean made an unsuccessful attempt at the IBF 140-pound title against Lamont Peterson and then rebounded to beat Mario Perez (TKO8) and Daniel Ruiz (TKO5)to finish of 2014.
The last we saw of Lundy, he lost a close decision to Thomas Dulorme in December at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and was then scheduled to face lightweight contender Petr Petrov in January on ESPN2 - but Lundy came in four pounds over the 135-pound limit and the fight was scratched.
