Veteran coach Alexander Zimin is not sure if his working relationship will continue with former WBA heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin (26-1, 18KOs), who suffered his first career defeat in October when he lost a twelve round decision to WBO/IBF/IBO/WBA champion Wladimir Klitschko in Moscow, Russia.

BoxingScene.com reported several days ago that Povetkin was going to bring in some additional coaches to his team, and Rudy Hernandez is one potential trainer that Povetkin's manager has mentioned.

"Alexander is going to start training after the holidays. We have to call each other. First, it will be necessary to wish each other a Happy New Year and a congratulations, and secondly, we are going to speak briefly on whether or not we are going to train together," Zimin said.
