Former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. spent some hanging with WBC welterweight/junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The two fighters were watching the Los Angeles Lakers play the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night. Chavez said he was invited to the game and enjoyed it with Mayweather. Chavez is poised to face Bryan Vera in a rematch on March 1, while Mayweather is set to return on May 3rd against an opponent to be determined.
