One of the most charismatic Mexican fighters of the last decade, Jorge "Travieso" Arce, is ready to give his boxing career a final run, as he returns for the first time since the knockout loss to Nonito Donaire on December 15, 2012. Arce retired after that fight, but a few weeks ago he made a decision to return. Arce (61-7-2-1, 46 KOs) will return this Saturday night n the Mexican city of San Luis Potosi, against Colombian José Carmona (22-3, 12 KOs).

Arce, who wants his sixth world crown, is hoping to face countryman Orlando Salido, the WBO featherweight champion. He would like to get a shot at Salido in the first half of 2014.

"I have always been a warrior, and I'm looking for a fight against Salido, who is promoted by the same company as me. I want to close some mouths by winning my sixth world crown, because a lot of people are saying that Juan Manuel Marquez would be the first [Mexican] with five [divisional] titles, because [one of my titles was an interim], but now I'll get the sixth and what will they have to say then. It's rude, disrespectful towards me. But yeah, I do not live for world titles. I do not care if they do not recognize them, I do my job and try to do it as well as I can," Arce said.
