On Saturday evening blue chip prospect Terence Crawford (21-0) will fight on HBO for the third time this year.  There has been a lot of talk that Crawford, who is rated as the #1 contender by the WBO, could fight for a title as soon as in his next fight. While Crawford is hungry for a title, he insists that he isn't looking past his undefeated opponent, Andrey Klimov (16-0).

I asked the recently turned 26-year-old if he is happy with the way his career has progressed.  Crawford said that he is happy with where his career is at but admitted that he thought he would have been moved along a little bit faster.

"Technically no because I thought I should have had a shot a long time ago but I stayed patient and took my time,"  said Crawford.

The Omaha, Nebraska native last fought in Nebraska in February, 2011 when he stopped Anthony Mora in the first round.  Antonio DeMarco defeated Reyes Sanchez that evening in the main event that was fought in front of a packed house. Crawford said that he hopes to fight at home again soon.

"I would love to fight in Nebraska again.  I have been asking them to put a fight in Omaha for years.  When they had the fight at Grand Island (which is close to Omaha) I brought a lot of people out there. Me and Johnny Determan along with Demarco and Sanchez, we packed the house," Crawford told BoxingScene.com.

When asked what the fans can expect to see on Saturday night, Crawford simply said, "I am going to do what I always do and plan on putting on a good show."
