Tonight's main event will not last too long, according to Abel Sanchez, trainer of WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (26-0, 23KOs). The two beltholder will face dangerous Matthew Macklin (29-4, 20KOs) at Foxwoods Resort in Mashantucket, Connecticut. Sanchez expects the fight to last no more than five rounds, with Macklin taking a terrible beating, which forces his trainer Buddy McGirt to save him from punishment by throwing in the towel.

"It's going to be an exciting fight for as long as it goes. He has a smart boxing mind in the corner [Buddy McGirt]. We're expecting a very smart Matthew. In this business, there are great fighters and there are great, great fighters. With Gennady Golovkin, I think we are getting to see the next superstar in boxing. The greatest asset for Matthew is that he's a warrior, but that's his detriment too. I don't think the fight is going to go past five rounds. I think Buddy may have to do what he did against [Sergio] Martinez, because Macklin will be taking such a beating," Sanchez told BoxingScene.com.
