MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Angel Garcia, the father and trainer of WBC/WBA junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia, told BoxingScene.com that Ruben Guerrero, father and trainer of Robert Guerrero, is crossing the line with his insults to Floyd Mayweather Jr., and his father/trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr.

Garcia, one of the most outspoken and controversial figures in boxing, said Ruben's recent insults were offensive. Garcia's comments were surprising, especially when you consider that his pre-fight trash talking has nearly caused riots.

On Wednesday, Ruben went wild at the final press conference, shouting at the podium - "We're going to beat up that woman beater, the one that beat up his wife...his wife in front of his kids. You like this guy, this woman beater? He must have learned it from his Dad. Women beaters, baby. We're going to beat that woman beater. We'll see how he's going to like it. He's going to get it from a real man. Damn women beaters. We're going to beat that woman beater down. I'm serious."

Not long after the rant, the two trainers nearly brawled before being separated by security. As BoxingScene reported earlier, the two trainers nearly exchanged punches for a second time when their paths crossed backstage at Friday's weigh-in at the MGM Grand.

Angel Garcia was at the officlal weigh-in and told BoxingScene the pre-fight antics were going too far.

"It was back and forth, but I think Guerrero's dad took it a little too far. You have to talk about boxing, people don't want to hear that [about beating women]. When I talk about stuff, I talk about their career....I keep it boxing and I don't take it to another level," Angel told BoxingScene.com.

The trash talking antics of Ruben Guerrero created a growing demand for a verbal battle between Ruben and Angel. It could happen, says Angel, but only if Guerrero dropped down to 140-pounds - which he doesn't expect to happen.

"The only thing is Guerrero would have to come down to 140," Angel said laughing when informed of the growing demand for a war or words showdown with Ruben.
