Enrique Collazo, the gold medalist of the Central American and Caribbean Games in 2010, will look to make his pro debut on April 6 in Carolina. The fight will be held at four rounds at 162 pounds, and he will be part of the card being put together by Universal Promotions. The show will be televised on DirecTV where the main battle is between Thomas Dulorme (17 -1, 13 KO) and Colombian Ivan Hernandez (29-3, 23 KO).

"I'll fight at 162 and I'm thinking of going down slowly to 158 or 56 to make a campaign at 154 pounds. And then go up gradually to reach 168 or whereever the body forces me. I have height and it is a matter of the physical work," Collazo said.

Collazo amassed a big amateur record of 185-25 and indicated that the hardest thing with his transition to the professional ranks is getting used to the change in style.
