IBO world light heavyweight champion Andrzej Fonfara (23-2, 13 KOs) will return to the ring on August 16 in the main fight of the night. He was scheduled to fight on March 22 at the UIC Pavilion with Nicholson Poulard, but the match had to be canceled due to a hand injury, which he contracted during one of his sparring sessions.

"In the near future I will have to undergo hand surgery, but my doctors are confident that my hand will return to full capacity within a maximum of two months. August 16th is far enough away that I have time to rehabilitation and appropriate my preparation for a fight," said Fonfara.
