Enrique Collazo, who was gold medalist at the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games in Mayaguez, will make his professional debut on the 25th of January in Verona, New York - as announced Albert Rivera, one of his handlers. Collazo, who trains with Javier Arce in the gym of Barrio Obrero, where he lives, will have his first fight at 162 pounds and will then campaign in the middleweight division. During his time in the United States, Collazo will be sparring with Edwin "La Bomba" Rodriguez, who belongs to Lou DiBella's stable. Collazo has a promotional contract with Gary Shaw Promotions and Javier Bustillo.
