Former WBA super flyweight world champion Daiki Kameda continued his campaign for a new title shot after beating Thailand's Mike Tawatchai in the main event of a card that was organized at the Sun Messe Kagawa in Takamatsu, Kagawa, Japan. Daiki clearly dominated the action over Tawatchai, who tasted the canvas during the action. All three cards had an identical score of 100-89.

Daiki improved to 25-3, with 16 knockouts, while Tawatchai lost his undefeated record, dropping down to 25-1-1, with 17 knockouts.

On this same card, the youngest Kameda brother, Tomoki "Mexicanito" Kameda, remained unbeaten by winning a unanimous decision over ten rounds against Filipino Monico Laurente. Kameda was well head on all three scorecards, 100-90, 100-91 and 100-91.

Tomoki, a world ranked junior featherweight, raised his record to 24-0, with 15 knockouts, while Laurente dropped to 22-8, 5 KOs
