Israel "The Heir" Vazquez (5-0-2, 5 KOs), son of former triple world champion Wilfredo Vazquez and brother of former featherweight world champion Wilfredo Vazquez Jr., came in at 109 pounds for a six round bout against veteran Miguel "Samurai" Del Valle (8-17, 2 KOs), who weighed 108.

Meanwhile, the gold medalist of the 2010 Youth Olympics in Singapore and silver medalist at the 2010 World Junior Amateur in Azerbaijan, Emmanuel Rodriguez, came in 114 pounds for his pro debut against fellow newcomer Jason Agosto, he weighed 115 pounds. This will be a four round clash.
