After his outstanding performance last summer in Tokyo, Japan, against World Boxing Association (WBA) champion Koki Kameda of Japan, David "Morita" De La Mora will have a second chance to be crowned world champion when he faces Panamanian Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno (32-1, 11 KOs) on April 21st in El Paso, Texas for WBA bantamweight title.

De La Mora(24-1, 17 KOs), promoted by Baja Boxing, is considered one of the most promising young boxers to come out of Tijuana.

"This is what I've dreamed of as a child. I'm very motivated and nothing can take away the idea from my mind that I will become world champion. We know it's the biggest fight of my career and we are going through a very important preparation. Anselmo Moreno is one of the best world champions right now, so I have to make a perfect fight to win. I will travel to Texas convinced that I will have a great performance and I will win the title for Tijuana and everyone throughout Mexico," De La Mora said.
