Carlos Negron (13-1 and 9KOs) will reprise his career in 2012 by returning to the cruiserweight division, where the fighter hopes become world champion while promising to train in the United States in order to secure better sparring. Negron, standing at 6'6, admits that despite his height, his physique is not the traditional full-span of a heavyweight, which leaves him at a disadvantage against the 'mastodons' weighing 240 pounds onwards.

"I felt like I was inflated. I will return on February 3 at a function in San Sebastian (Puerto Rico) at 200 pounds. In addition, there are plans to train in U.S. for sparring and to further develop myself as a boxer. We're discussing the possibility of winning a regional title this year," Negron said.
