The Sunday Telegraph reports that former multi-division champion Anthony Mundine (43-4, 25KOs) has left Sydney, Australia and is scheduled to arrive in Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming a star in the United States. The boxer plans to have a meeting with his new manager, Cameron Dunkin, where the two of them will discuss a possible four-fight promotional deal - with either Top Rank or Golden Boy Promotions.

"I'll fight any body, any place, any time," Mundine said. "I want the dream fights and I want Australia to get behind me. A four fight deal - three in America and one in Australia is what I'm after. I know 36 is not to old in boxing. I didn't start until late. The Americans will love my style. They love charisma and they love showmanship. That's what it's all about. That's what the big TV networks want."

Australian boxing legend Jeff Fenech will be a part of Mundine's team for his United States conquest.

"Jeff was a great fighter on the front foot," Mundine said. "Technically he knew how to punch and he can help me in that area with my dad. He's also very passionate about the sport. He said he'd help me with anything. With all his contacts and friends no-one has connections in America like Jeff Fenech."
