Palenque de la Feria in Colima, Mexico - IBF super bantamweight champion Takalani Ndlovu (33-6, 18 KOs) survived a bit of danger by recovering from an early knockdown to win a close twelve round split decision over Giovanni Caro (22-10-4, 17 KOs). Ndlovu was up 114-113 on two cards, while the third judge saw Caro as the 114-113 winner.

In the co-feature, Ava Knight (7-1-3, 4 KOs) captured the IBF female flyweight world title with a second round stoppage over previously unbeaten Arely Mucino (14-1-1, 8 KOs). A combination in the second put Mucino down and out, as the referee waved it off.
