"Regular" welterweight world champion (WBA), Argentine Marcos "El Chino" Maidana (30-2, 27 KOs) will face Russia's Petr "The Czar" Petrov (29-2-2, 13 KOs) in what will be the first defense of his crown on Friday at German Society Villa Ballester in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Sebastian Contursi, Maidana adviser, informed BoxingScene.com's Carlos Irusta that several key fighters would appear on the undercard.

Former WBA Fedalatin champion Oscar "El Salvaje" Pereyra (24-1, 15 KOs) will face Angel "El Torito" Aguirre (7-5-1-1, 4 KOs ) in junior welterweight and the distance will be ten rounds.

Guido "Chico" Pitto (13-0, 5 KOs) will have a demanding test against former welterweight Latino champion lJorge "El Chino" Miranda (46-12-0-1, 16 KOs), in the middleweight division, and for eight rounds.

In addition, at featherweight, Maximiliano "El Tigre" Mendez (6-7-1) will face Julian "Spark" Aristule (16-2, 10 KOs).

And finally, at super lightweight, Gonzalo "El Terrible" Ovando (9-5, 2 KOs) will collide with Rodrigo "Finito" Escasena (6-7-3).
