Doncaster's Jamie McDonnell has it all to lose going into tomorrow night's British, Commonwealth and EBU title showdown with Darlington's Stuart Hall at the Doncaster Dome.  The hometown fighter holds the Commonwealth and European straps; Hall picked up the British belt by beating Ian Napa in June 2010 and has impressed in title defences against Martin Power, Gary Davies and John Donnelly.

Jamie, though, has reaped the rewards of a European reign that has taken in wins over Jerome Arnould, Rodrigo Bracco and Stephene Jamoye as well as a Commonwealth victory over Nick Otieno, a win that saw him go the twelve round distance for the fourth time, three wins against a loss to Chris Edwards when going for the British super-flyweight belt.  McDonnell is in his prime; the 25-year-old has learned valuable lessons en route to compiling his 17-2-1 (7) slate and should be sharp as he runs the risk of losing two crowns.

Hall has yet to taste defeat; his 11-0-1 (7) career kicked into gear with the win over Napa, the 31-year-old has not looked back since and has plenty of incentive in a Frank Maloney-promoted 2011-12 season curtain raiser.

It all points to a fine start to the boxing season, Maloney has put down a marker by putting together a genuine pick 'em fight and one that will see the three major titles annexed, unless the draw comes in.

Sky Sports 1 and HD1 televise from 8pm tomorrow night.
