Undefeated welterweight prospect Charles "The Future" Hatley (14-0-1, 11 KO's) returns to the ring tonight after a layoff of more than six months as he faces Calvin Odom (15-9, 11 KO's) in an eight-round battle.

Hatley was last seen on Super Bowl weekend, battling it out with Chris Chatman in the televised opener to an ESPN2 Friday Night Fights broadcast. Though entertaining, Hatley’s performance mixed reviews from the boxing public. The bout resulted in an eight-round draw, the lone blemish on his ledger to date.

Not long after the bout, legal matters and other out-of-the-ring issues crept to the forefront, resulting in the longest hiatus of Hatley's nearly three-year career.

Odom has fought several name fighters with little success.  He owns a victory over Jose Luis Zertuche, with losses to Marco Antonio Rubio and "The Contender" alums Grady Brewer and Walter Wright.
