Frankie Gavin and Young Mutley have promised explosive KO victories when they meet on May 21 at the O2 Arena.

The Midlands rivals will travel to London to get it on as part of Frank Warren's huge This Is It show.

The WBO Intercontinental belt and a chance to gate-crash the world top 10 are at stake.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Gavin said that he would be too strong for his experienced opponent.

"I am going to win, I am really fit and as strong as I ever felt," said Britain's only-ever amateur world champion.

"I am not sure he's even going to hit me, never mind knock me out."

But former British welterweight champion Mutley hit back by saying: ""Gavin won't know what hit him.

"He's a good kid but I've got too much know how for him. He's getting exposed and stopped."
