Former two time super bantamweight champion Steve Molitor has hinted that he might retire after suffering a shock decision loss to Takalani Ndlovu on Saturday in South Africa. In their two prior meetings, Molitor had beaten Ndoluv with ease. This time it was different. Ndlovu was the better boxer, the better fighter, and stronger.

"There are certain things that I can no longer do. I've been a professional boxer for 10 years. Things change," Molitor told reporter Bongani Magasela.

Molitor's trainer, Chris Johnson, was impressed with Ndlovu's performance.

"Takalani was brilliant," acknowledged Johnson. "Takalani fought much better and stronger than in their last fight. It's a commendable ability as a fighter. Steve did not follow the game plan. We worked on combinations and he threw single-handed punches. He began throwing some flashes later. His rhythm was not there."
