WBA heavyweight champion David Haye watched Vitali Klitschko's first round TKO win over Odlanier Solis. Haye is going to fight Vitali's younger brother, IBO/WBO/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko, on June 25 or July 2, but after Wladimir he wants to face Vitali in the fall. At the end of the first round, Solis ate a right hand and went down, but during the fall he injured his right knee and couldn't continue.

Regarding the injury, Haye places the blame on Solis' struggles with weight. Yet he credits the 2004 Olympic gold medal winner with using the correct strategy to win the fight.

"Now that's why you shouldn't have excess body fat. A lean 30-year-old healthy athlete shouldn't have joints/ligaments popping for no reason," Haye explained. "Solis knew how to beat Vitali, but years of obesity stopped him [from] being able to execute. He will unfortunately go down as yet another fat bum!"
