As reported late Friday night, UFC president Dana White released the video of the sparring match between Conor McGregor and Paulie Malignaggi and you will be hard-pressed to find any push in it.

Malignaggi left the camp abruptly when a photo was released of him on the mat after what he said was a push rather than a knockdown.

However, when White released the video Friday, there really is no push to be found. McGregor is seen hitting Malignaggi and then kind of grabbing his head and then Malignaggi falls to the mat. If it was a push it wasn't an aggressive one.

What was aggressive was some of the other sparring in earlier rounds.

McGregor clearly lands one big shot here, but he doesn't knock down his opponent. That would back up Malignaggi's statements that McGregor does hit hard, but that his power was simply "above average."

Now, these are videos released by the UFC president so they do have to be taken with a grain of salt.

Other videos could show Malignaggi's success rather than McGregor's. These videos tell the story White wants to tell. But still, there was no push where Malignaggi said there was one, so maybe Malignaggi wasn't exactly truthful himself.

Malignaggi was hired as a sparring partner to help McGregor prepare for the showdown with Floyd Mayweather on August 26th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

According to Malignaggi, he spoke with former champion Andre Berto - who is close friends with McGregor - and Berto walked away from sparring with McGregor after hearing about what happened to Malignaggi.

Berto was Mayweather's last opponent, back in September 2015, with Floyd winning a dominating twelve round unanimous decision.

“I spoke to Andre Berto. Andre was supposed to go there and box on Saturday, and he changed his mind after seeing what happened with me,” Malignaggi said to Cagesiders.

“Everybody already knew what happened with Van Heerden, now he’s doing the same with me too. When word goes around that somebody is like that, even in regular life, you start to alienate (people).”

“He’s going to have trouble getting any help in boxing, because the sneaky tactics, the sneaky qualities that he has now can no longer be looked at as a coincidence. With the Van Heerden situation, like maybe he didn’t know how the ethics work in boxing, maybe he still had to learn, or now that he has learned, everything will be okay.

“I think the cat’s out of the bag with Conor McGregor in boxing, now that he’s tried this again, with sneaky tactics. You spar, and let me put in sneaky pictures, or make sneaky videos in Van Heerden’s case and let me spin it. There was no need to do that, but all it’s done is ruin his reputation. I don’t think he’ll be able to get big name help at any point in his boxing career. But at the end of the day, it was definitely something that has hurt his ability to work with contacts — or have contacts in boxing.”
