The Puerto Rican Professional Boxing Commission will investigate allegations that Black Tiger Promotions has outstanding debts with boxers Juan Manuel "Juanma" López and Wilfredo Vázquez Jr.

Hermann Colberg, president of the Commission, told the media that he does not have the details of the statements made by Vázquez Jr. through a video that has circulated on social networks.

In the video, Vazquez claims that he is still waiting to receive his share of the pay per view sales. The fight took place on October 29.

When contacted, Colberg said he did not have the details about the claims.

"I have to dig a little. From what I understand [Vázquez Jr.] will write a letter to the Commission. Obviously, I have to talk to Vázquez's lawyer, [Gaby] Peñaragaricano and the people of Black Tiger to find out what's going on. The reality is that I can not pass judgment on the matter," Colberg reacted to Carlos Gonzalez.

Apparently, the contractual agreements with the fighters were that their respective economic benefits depended on the money collected for ticket sales, pay per view, in addition to t-shirts and other promotional products.

"What I understand is that the pay-per-view numbers take a little while [to come in]. Maybe it has to do with that or something else. It depends on what the contracts say and, according to my best memory, is that they would be paid in a profit distribution. The formula was that the expenses were covered with the income, then subtracted and distributed according to the percentages they had agreed to," added Colberg.

Colberg, however, did not say whether the Commission would activate a $50,000 bond belonging to Felix Matías to comply with Maldonado's economic commitments.

"Typically, the bond is to guarantee payments to officers working on the event, but it can also be used to cover that situation," Colberg said.
