According to WBO super featherweight world champion Vasyl Lomachenko (6-1, 4KOs), he's not worried about a controversial decision in his upcoming fight - because he says the only way Nicholas Walters will be able to beat him is by knockout.

The two fighters will finally get in the ring against each other at the Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas

Lomachenko was ringside last Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena, and watched his good friend Sergey Kovalev (30-1-1, 26KOs) lost the first fight of his career, and his WBA, IBF, WBO light heavyweight titles, to Olympic gold medal winner Andre Ward.

Many felt the outcome was controversial. Ward was given the decision, by all three judges, with an identical score of 114-113. Ward was down in the second round lost most of the first six rounds, but did much better in the second half of the fight.

Lomachenko is not worried about judges, Walters' undefeated record or his promise to win the upcoming fight by knockout.

"I do not agree with the decision. I believe that Sergei Kovalev won the fight. I can't really say how well the judges did their jobs, but in my opinion the winner was Sergei Kovalev," Lomachenko said. "In order to beat me, Walters will need to knock me out."

"[To me his undefeated record] does not affect the fight. Who cares what the record is written on the paper? He still has never boxed with me. I prepared for him just like anybody else. Walters is no different from the other guys that I prepared for, because I always prepare the everybody the same whether they are strong or weak. After Saturday night, you will have the opportunity to go to the Walters and find out what happened, and ask him why he couldn't knock me out."
